A little video pre-class for our backyard herbalism class! This was a full class of wonderful people who wanted to learn about the medicine in their backyard. We covered four different medicinal plants: plantain, ground ivy, all heal and jewelweed. - White pine and materia Medica
- a mini botany bouquet with a variety of asters and mint family plants as well as a poppy seed head. Seeds can be saved to plant next year, there is also a loop so that you can take a look at the flowers and use that tool in your botany journey
- a poultice powder for your first aid kit
- a culinary bundle with fresh coriander seeds, sage and oregano
- a beautiful foraging ethics poster
- a DIY Pine-Sol project
- a recipe for tree tea which includes hickory nuts, White pine and black birch

This is the Milky oat harvest for our Foundations of holistic Herbalism class tomorrow! We will be making a Milky oat tincture. This course is full for this season but we will run it again in the spring. It's a great way to get a good foundation for your Herbal practice and then you can build upon it with other classes. This course provides a 25-hour certificate which can be applied to our 50-hour certificate. Details on our website!
