For these extracts I will have them sit in here on the warm setting for 24 hours before I strain them.

This is a much faster way of making a glycerin extract rather than letting it sit on the counter for 3 to 4 weeks. I am making these for a client who cannot have alcohol-based products.

brewing up some fire ciders with different herbs. My own philosophy of formulating fire cider is to use the pungent herbs as a base (garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish, etc) but add other herbs I may want for various medicinal purposes. We will be teaching a class in Indiana PA in mid February!

A little video pre-class for our backyard herbalism class! This was a full class of wonderful people who wanted to learn about the medicine in their backyard. We covered four different medicinal plants: plantain, ground ivy, all heal and jewelweed.
